I look COOL in my shades!

So it's summer and it's time to break out the shades...And I look coooool! RJ actually doesn't mind wearing them probably because it blocks all the flashes that are always going off in front of her! We took her to the park for the first time as a family the other day on Memorial day and put her in the swings...She LOVED it so now I can't wait to get a swing set for her because I too love the swing sets!! And lucky Dad will be able to put it together (lucky I think not) Talk to you all soon!

Toughest baby around!

Yesterday was Raquel's MRI and she took it like a champ! She of couldn't eat anything before it, but still was all giggles and smiles. She had to be sedated with a HUGE needle, but only cried for a split second, then giggles and more smiles. And when they finally tried to put her under she wanted to keep movin' and talkin' so much that they had to up the amount THREE times before they could get her completely sedated and still. When she came out from the procedure the doctors let us hold her while she came to and guess what...giggles and smiles (and a little woozy and drunk). We won't know the results until we have our follow up visit with Dr. Kirsch, her specialist, in two weeks so we will keep you posted. In the mean time, thanks for all the well wishers and prayers,it certainly was appreciated.

It's summer!!

Raquel was so excited to put on her first summer outfit with matching hat that she insisted that I post it on her blog...she's camera ready and beach ready!!

Sorry for the delay in updating...

It's been quite difficult to find time to update now that RJ is crawling EVERYWHERE! I now know what all my friends with kids meant when they said 'just wait until she starts crawling' because that means mom is running after her all the time and if I do get a moment it's usually just enough time for a shower or to work out. So my apologies...she is currently trapped in the office with me so that I could do this...we will see how far I get.:) These are some pictures of our recent trip down to Ross' grandpa's farm and as you can see Raquel had quite a bit of lovin' on done to her that weekend. It was a big weekend for her, she had to teach super grandpa how to crawl, Grappy how to drive the tractor and then show him to wipe his mouth and finally she had to teach aunt Jeannie how to train Dutchess. That's a lot for a 7 month old but she said it was okay she understands that the "tall people" have a lot to learn-just imagine all that she has taught Ross and I!
