Baby Girl

Raquel is rockin' and rollin' these days going ALL OVER the house and looking great while she does her exercises (IE cruising and having mommy chase her) She's just so excited that Super Grandpa is going to be here in a couple of weeks and she is planning on showing off her skills by walking for him (hopefully) See you soon S.G>

We're offical!

We finally got our license plates and of course we can't be 'normal' and have the DMV select what they will say...oh NO! I wanted something that pertained to Jimmy Buffett (because we stalk him) and all the ones that I tried were already taken except for what I chose. Of course now everyone is going to think that I just like cheeseburgers and think that I'm crazy to announce that to the world, but the true Jimmy fans will know. Ross on the other hand thought it to be wise to let the Atlanta police know that he has a lead foot...like they won't find that out on their own, but like I keep telling him, we don't have an attorney on retainer here like we did in Wilmington (that got him out of, count 'em 5 TICKETS!) but I have an inkling that soon we will have another attorney here:) Raquel is teething again but instead of like most other babies that get their top two front teeth after their lower ones come in she is getting BOTH incisors on the top in right now and she is NOT TOO HAPPY! But like the trooper she is, she is handling it like a champ!! Were also quite excited to see that hurricane Dean passed up Cancun since Ross and I will be traveling ther in three weeks. That would have been a party pooper if we would have had to cancel. So we are looking forward to that. Plus the entire monthe of Sept we will have family here which is SO great (Ican't wait) Super Grandpa comes for RJ's first birthday and then we go to Cancun, come back, 2 days later Aundrea and Crazy Momma come, 5 days later Jonann comes and leaves with Crazy Momma on the 30th, then Aunt Glo is coming for a few days in the beginning of Oct. No babysitters needed here :). And then we have friends coming the first weekend of Nov and our old nanny Jen is planning on spending Thanksgiving with us. I think it's fabulous! We'll keep you all updated on RJ's surgery-much love coming our way...thanks!

EXCITING DAY!!!

Today Raquel took TWO!! count em TWO steps!! She was standing next to the coffee table in the livingroom (hands on at first) then she let go and took one step forward with her right foot and then brought her left foot in front!! Our little girl is growing up so quickly. Unfortunately Ross is in CA so he wasn't able to experience it and like I told him, she will be jogging by the time he gets home this Sunday (ha ha) she is going to be a handful my friends!

LASAGNA!! ME LOVE LASAGNA!!

We had a couple of Ross' staff over last night for dinner and I made a lasagna for them and thought it would be a "great "idea to feed it to the beast for lunch today. OMG! She was not only wearing it but smearing it all over her face, head, hair, up her nose it was freaking hysterical! She IMMEDIATELY had a bath and her outfit went straight into the wash. (NOTE TO SELF...leave baby in diaper when feeding her lasagna) (or her birthday cake ) Loved every moment of it though and haven't laughed that hard in a long time!
