Drumroll Please.....RRRRRRRR

So after a full day of getting the house ready for Christmas on Saturday (and Ross loving every minute of being on a ladder 2 stories up), knowing full well that we will NOT be here for the actual holiday. Spending hours unwinding a big ball of lights ("Here you unwind this Russ"). Checking a couple hundred Italian twinkle lights we made this the jolliest house since Bing Crosby tapped danced with Danny F'ing Kay. No the house isn't on fire and yes, he knows the little lights aren't twinkling...but thanx for noticing!

GOBBLE GOBBLE...It's Turkey Day!

We were all decked out in our autumn colors to enjoy the feast that Dad had made for us. It was the first time that Raquel could pig out with us on this holiday and she did her share! We all enjoy a relaxing day of eating (A LOT) , watching football and the ever so important watching the Macy's Day Parade...We had to get a look at ol' Santa...and he looked primed and ready to go. We hope that you all had a wonderful day and shared your reasons for being thankful as we are all truely blessed to have each other and all of our loved ones. Lots of love to you all during this upcoming holiday season!! GOBBLE GOBBLE!

OH NO..... GLASSES FOR BABYGIRL?

We simply thought that Raquel was over excited and that would explain why she had always tripped so many times. Come to find out that she needed 'clown glasses' so that she would quit tripping over Daddy's clown feet!

How Mommy and I ransack the mailbox

As any typical girl, we need to stop immediately when we realize that a Victoria's Secret catalog has been sent to our home and start lookin' good to see that babygirl has found the same level of excitement!

Going to get family Christmas pictures taken

We decided to have professional Christmas pictures taken this year and I like a dummy, decided that the best way to spend a saturday morning would be to drive an hour and a half to Newnan to have them taken, which of course thrilled Ross :) But none the less hopefully the pictures will turn out well. If not, you may be viewing our Christmas card picture right now!

Raquel's second surgery

Yesterday was RJ's second surgery on her kidneys and we were so excited to get the results from Dr. Kirsch that there still seems to be no indication of reflux, AT ALL, on her right kidney and he was able to remove the shunt from her left kidney easily thereby allowing him to run another test to to check for reflux in that kidney which also showed no sign of reflux. Next step is to do an MRI on Dec.6 to double check the functionality of her left kidney and then hopefully we will have a wonderful Christmas gift that being she will no longer be required to have any more surgeries and will permanently be off all medications. YEA!!!

Trick or Treat !!!

Our first Halloween in Atlanta and we had a fun time even though we only had ONE ghost visit our house...actually it was spider man but all the same. We of course took it upon ourselves not to let that beat us down and took our fairy princess, pumpkin puppy, hippy hubby and witchey me out to spook up some fun!

JB being inducted to the Athletic Hall of Fame....ABOUT TIME!

Daddy was finally recognized for his 47 years of dedication to Dowling High this past friday at the high school as well as the football game between Dowling and Johntson (unfortunately DHS lost) but Daddy was certaintly back in his element! He had a great time watching the football game and I think an even better time at the party thrown by his old admin Mary at Cooneys bar. It was suppose to be a surprise but unfortunately someone let the cat out of the bag that night so he knew that there was to be a party after the ceremony. Leave it to Daddy to be as humble as possible and not think of it as a big deal but after he was stopped repeatedly at he game and after about 100 people saying congrats at the party I think the ol' guy figured out that he is missed at DHS and CERTAINLY by many Dowling supporters. We certainly do love him! The last photo is of Ross, me, Raquel and Jolly Mon' just kickin' back on the kitchen floor....yes we actually have furniture but we seem to like the floor:)
