Grandpa's Cutie and TEXAS!!

We all took a trip down to Texas to see our good friends Al and Ellen and their daughter Jessica who just graduated from high school and who will be attending SMU in the fall. WE HAD A BLAST! We also went to see Kenny Chesney in concert Saturday night while we were there which was spectacular!KENNY KENNY KENNY!!! Jess took over babysitting duties when she wasn't already working at her day job. (Talk about an overachiever:)) So Daddy and I could take a long awaited breather.AHHH! Of course while at the concert Ross decided that he would like a little Kenny dna on him so he jumped the railing and snuck his way down to the front row where Kenny shook his hand, meanwhile I decided to go looking for him and made a new friend who invited me up to their skybox suite...so I went, what the heck, and proceeded to eat all their shrimp cocktail , drink their champagne and enjoy the concert. Al and Ellen decided to stay in seats and dance the night away. We all met up afterwards and then made some more new frinds while waiting for traffic. It was a Fun night!! Our friends have a pool and retreat area hence the pictures of Beast in the pool in her pjs, she LOVED the pool. One big bath for her! We decided that we had so much fun that we will do it again in October but in Jamaica or Mexico and this time we will not be taking Beast(too hot for her). Had a lovely time! The pink outfit with the pink cowboy hat were a gift to Raquel from our friends...COWBOY UP!!

MRI update

We got the results of Raquel's MRI and it has been decided that it would be best to ahead and perform the surgery to correct the blockage in her left kidney and at the same time, since they will already have her sedated , to perform what is called 'deflux' which will hopefully correct her reflux in her right kidney. All in all Dr. Kirsch is hopeful that this will do the trick and if it does she will not have to be on meds for the rest of her life (which is good) It will be scheduled sometime in the next 4-6 weeks and she will have to stay in the hospital hopefully no longer than a couple of days. We will be able to stay in the room with her over night and throughout the entire stay which if they told us we couldn't someone was going to lose an eye!!! We will keep you all updated and thanks for the calls and cards, it means a lot to know that we have such a great support system!!

Our first open house

We had our first open house here in Marietta last weekend and it was also the first party that Raquel has had in her home so I had to put her in her pretty party dress. We had a good turnout of mostly GE people but that is all we know right know. The last picture is of ' crazyland' again...and he wonders where she gets it!?
